[I]mages are carefully composed with a level of elegance rarely seen in teen-oriented genre pics; Eubank started as a d.p. himself, and 'The Signal' looks a good deal more expensive than its modest budget would suggest. Visual and special effects are sparingly but effectively used

After losing contact with Earth, Astronaut Lee Miller becomes stranded in orbit alone aboard the International Space Station. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity — and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence, until he makes a strange discovery aboard the ship. Driven by the powerful music of Angels & Airwaves, Love explores the fundamental human need for connection and the limitless power of hope. A high-impact visual adventure that resonates a common truth: that everyone has a story to tell and something even greater to leave behind.

An impressive show of imagination and design

[A] beautifully shot and thought provoking Sci-Fi tale of loss, isolation and loneliness

While his debut will infuriate some in its adherence to Kubrick’s cryptic stargazing and Malick’s spiritual yearning, others will be excited that those comparisons are worth making. Somehow — for only $500,000, using a set he built in his parents’ yard — Eubank has fashioned an avant-garde 'Moon', harnessing greater ambition and technical flair than most mega-budget hype magnets.
–Total Film
Eubank has a practiced control of the frame, and an understanding of form that makes this micro-budget feature punch well above its weight

Wright… gives a tour de force performance as the astronaut on the verge of cracking up, and writer–director William Eubank does things with a pocket-money budget that a studio megaproduction couldn’t manage a generation ago.
